For people living with HIV, knowing their viral load numbers is essential, especially when the clinic or doctor's office is far away.
The TrueLevel Study will help determine whether self-administered viral load monitoring can help people living with HIV more easily manage their care.
If we’re successful, we can make self-administered viral load monitoring accessible. This will make it easier for people to get the care they need, improve their health, and reduce the transmission of HIV.
We follow all data protection laws, including HIPAA, and use industry-standard security measures to keep your information safe. Your data won’t be shared without your consent unless required by law. You can access, update, or ask us to delete your personal information at any time.
For more detailed information, please review our privacy policy.
Your blood sample will be processed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) HIV Laboratory, which developed this method to support people facing barriers to HIV care. Samples are handled with the highest standards for safety, accuracy, and confidentiality. The CDC will not be able to identify you or anyone who provides a sample. All samples will be destroyed within 6 months after the study ends.
